The Latest News from Premiere Yachts – April 2018

Regency Yachts P6509 is progressing nicely. Here is a behind-the-scenes look at some of the components going in, including the fuel and water tanks and the AHEAD sanitation system. The hull and deck should be joined in the next couple of weeks and shortly thereafter, the Volvo D13 900hp engines & Twin-Disc “Quick-Shift” transmissions will be installed. P6509 will also include new features, like an aft deck day head, Victron Energy solar panels, and a Webasto sunroof. If you are interested in this Regency, there’s still time to make design decisions to customize the yacht to your style and preferences.

Opening Day of Boating this year falls on Saturday, May 5th, which is fast approaching. This year’s theme is “Ocean Crossings” and the parade of boats starts at noon with the blast of a cannon and the raising of the Montlake Bridge. Visit the University of Washington website for log boom registration information, and the Seattle Yacht Club website for more Opening Day info, including parade registration. If you decide to take your boat out to the log boom so you have a front row seat of the parade, it’s first come first serve. The parade route closes at 9:40am, so make sure to give yourself plenty of time to get settled. You can also enjoy the parade from the shore, and if weather permits, bring your family and a picnic lunch and enjoy the festivities.

The newest Regency, P6508, will be in Seattle at the docks of Premiere Yachts for the next couple of months, so if you would like a private showing please contact your regional dealer to arrange it. P6508 will also be in the Anacortes Boat Show May 16th– 20th, which is another great opportunity to view this stunning vessel.
